I urge this Congress to finally pass the legislation we need to better meet the evolving threat of cyber-attacks, combat identity theft, and protect our children’s information. Well, that statement is scary for a lot of reasons: 1) It sounds like a cyber version of the Patriot act where people can be arrested without proof and held without a trial when they are declared enemy combatants. 2) Why are we bringing children into this? Any time the rallying cry of Wont somebody thing of the children is shouted, start worrying. 3) It is mostly children (aka people under the age of 18) who are causing these cyber-crimes.
