I usually do not post stuff related to celebrities, but this one - TopicsExpress

I usually do not post stuff related to celebrities, but this one caught my attention cause yes, we are all very sensitive about our looks while pregnant, and the last we want to hear is comments that might worry us or make us feel bad about ourselves. I barely put any weight during the first months, just 3-4 kg till the 5th month, but guess what. I did manage to put on 22kg in total! I gained weight like crazy during the last months. Did it worry me? Of course. Could I stop eating? No. Particularly ice-cream which was a must on a daily basis... To all people surrounding pregnant women, please, if you dont have something good to say about their looks, better not say anything. The extract is from the article: I personally love “#shortpeoplecarrybig” because it’s so true. I’m a mere 5’1″ (in heels…). When I was pregnant with my first child, people used to freak me out saying things like, “Ohhh, you’re going to deliver any day now,” when I was just five months along! Or, they’d say, “Ohhh, you’re not going to make it to nine months.” Believe me when I say I was anxious enough already; so, comments like that did not help, to say the least. I remember going to my doctor convinced premature labour was imminent. In the end, I made it all the way—humungous, but all the way: right on time with my first and just four days early with my second. Size does not matter, you see! And I know the same goes for tall people. Tall friends of mine say they often get comments like, “There’s no way your six months along.” Even when I posted the Scarlett Johansson photos, people commented on social media with stuff like, “She can’t be six months along.” Yes, she can. Everyone carries differently, and it can be a really sensitive thing.
