I waited until the end of the day to post about 9/11, simply because trying to find the right words to say, especially with the terrible state out country is in right now. I remember being in the Tigerette room, and the noises and all the smells around me. I remember wanting to smack around some freshman, that were joking around singing War. I remember my heart being in my feet, and the sheer soul wrenching heartache of the news footage during my government class. I remember watching my American brothers an sisters jumping from the Twin Towers to avoid burning to death. I remember they pulled ALL footage the next day, and George Bushs word the United Stated will NOT tolerate acts or terrorism. His speech rocked me to the core, and still sits with me today. I have watched my brother, and my friends go to fight for a country that seems to forget what it felt like 13 years ago today. I have been to Ground Zero, and have felt the haunting ache that resonates in the air. I am an American, born and bred on this soil, forged with freedom and a patriot until the day I die.....
