I walked in the mist and seen a shadow in my peripheral, as I turned to catch the fading figure it vanished into black. Im not home, I am not dreaming, Ive entered a dimension where my feets on the ceiling. Walking top side upside down I struggle in this unknown. Is it over? Am I dead or am I just really high? Looking for Jesus I begin to stumble on sin until I trip falling into my own damnation. I begin to drown in mercury, as the silver like liquid seeps into my flesh and eventually permeates my whole body. The experience turns from dimension to realization as I realize on my quest to find God or his Son. I find myself coming to the surface. Im ascending to ground. I look around the in this foggy new vicinity and realize that Im in some type of Gothic cathedral with an alter thats seemingly 100 yards away. At that instant I come to... as the epiphany drops on my head like the weight of a thousand moons. Raised in a church where the congregation is on an everlasting high from the holy ghost, I look for this. I have spent the sober times in my life trying to find that high. The closer I try to get to god or the more I look for this Holy Ghost the farther I get from the whole experience. Religion is a fading hope, and I am lost. Lost in the anomaly of life looking for the meaning of my existence.
