I walked into Target on a cold and dreary Thursday night. I needed cold medicine for the Cougha Cabana crew that had taken up residency in my facial orifices the past few days. They had those new Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Oreos right by the front door. Ive been seeing everyone talk about them. They were all the rage. A new marketing ploy by the geniuses at Nabisco, no doubt. When I saw them chilling on the shelf all poised and delicious looking, perfectly stacked, we locked eyes. I felt them speaking to me. I slowly pushed my cart toward them, not blinking once, as saliva pooled in my mouth. I imagined what theyd taste like. Was it a mix between an ACTUAL chocolate chip cookie and an Oreo? The thought had me shaking in anticipation. I pulled my cart right up to them, took one step closer, as if to grab a package to place in my empty cart..... And then did a mad #swerve and headed to the produce section. Boom. Nailed it.
