I want to envite all my friends and family to come out tomorrow from 10 am to 3 pm at Little Whiskey River. A fundraiser will be undrrway for a very special woman, Sandra Hammond. This woman, if I ever called another woman mama, it this woman. She and my mom and my dad and her and late husband were best friends. This woman has tore my butt up. Quick story, I was about 7 I guess, at her house was this carport with a window that had about a 8 to 10 foot drop straight down to the ground. Well, she caught me hanging head first out it. Dont ask me what I was doing, cuz apparently I was having a brain fart, but I was young and did not see the danger, I guess. After getting me out of that window, she BEAT my ass like I was her own! I will never forget that day. Mrs Sam, is what I have always called her and this woman has beenin my life since I was born. Mrs. Sam is one of the sweetest, loving women I know. She will do anything for anyone that she could. She has endured many challenges in her life including losing her first husband Ralph Cosby, in December of 1993 suddenly and leaving her with 4 young children ranging from 11 to 18 years old to raise. Again she rose back up, stronger than before. She later moved on and remarried a great man name Patrick Hammond who she lost to cancer. A couple of years ago she lost one of her sisters, Mrs. Frances Parker, to cancer as well. We recently discovered she has stage 4 lung disease. She is doing the chemo treatments, she just had her last one today for about 6 weeks. I talked to get on the phone today and she told meyou know it might take me down but you know I am gonna get right back up, stronger and better than before. It brought tears to my eyes, she is such a strong willed woman and she has not lost her sense of humor and as she said I AM GOING TO BEAT THIS. We have prayer warriors all over the world praying for her and we know OUR God has her in his hands and he is going to heal her! But she needs some help. She cant work and has no insurance, medicaid, medicare or any type of insurance and on top of that the gas they spend every week is about one hundred dollars. Tomorrow at Little Whiskey River from 10 to 3 we are having a fundraiser for her. There will be an auction, stuff that she crocheted. I forgot to mention that, this woman is the best at crocheting, she is awesome! She is the one that taught me to crochet. We will have several things she as crocheted including a round afghan! It was a very rare pattern and she crochetd it, its gorgeous, it will be up for auction and well as many other vendors. We will have food, drinks, eternity bracelets by Gwendolyn Tuten, cancer patches and lots more and 100% of the money raised goes toward Mrs Sams medicine, treatments and gas thanks to the owner of Little Whisky River, I am sorry, I dont know his name. Please come out and support us. Because her 4 kids and all her grandkids, and there is about 25 of them, lol, I lost count, all her adopted by love kids, like me and my sister, Donna Taylor, and all the other friends and family I have not mentioned, there is so many, we are NOT ready to let her go and we will fight and do what we have to. I am sending a message to my 2nd Daddy, her late husband, Ralph Cosby, aka known as Mr. Ralph, I know you miss your wife and want to her with you again and one day you will be reunited but for now please let us keep her 50 more years, you know Shelby, Sylvia Estevez, Billy and Jewell Amos, and all you grandbabies, by the way, you would be one proud grandpa, can not handle losing her. So along with us here praying, will you have a one on one with God and make sure he knows how much she is needed here on Earth? Cuz she still has so much work to do here and by the way, how we all miss you, as you know you are always on our minds and we all love you so much! Please all my friends and family come visit us tomorrow and if you dont know Mrs Sam, I will proudly introduce you and you will see how wonderful and precious our Sam is. Its going to be fun. Bring the kids as there will be no alchol available. Look for me, I will be moving arond constantly because I have the honor of capturing these moments that will show what pure love is! I cant wait to see you all out there tomorrow showing Mrs Sam our support and unconditional love! Mrs. Sam, aka, my second mama, I love you more than you know. I may not come around a whole bunch but I hope you know exactly what you mean to me. I want to thank you for 1, the most important thing, for beating my butt that day, if you were not there to catch me I probably would have fallen out and I would not be here now with my wonderful girls and husband. And You know my girls love you very much too! I know our God has the most amazing plan for you and with the help of all your loved ones and your amazing angels watching over you, WE are going to beat the crap out of this cancer! You are always in our hearts and prayers. I love you so much!! I know this is long and I know many of you are in tears but this has been heavy on my heart and I wanted everyone to know just how special she is to us all. Lets go out there tomorrow and raise enough money so she does not feel like a burden on her kids. I will personally be loking for everyone and I will be giving out my business card with a discount for a 30 minute photography session to use whenever you choose and if you purchase at least one item, even if its a drink, you will get this discount coupon.
