I want to finish my contract as a deck cadet, not as an OS or AB even if they call it as a promotion or an increase of salary. For me the only promotion for a deck cadet is to be a third officer, other than that it is a demotion. This is what I will prove for the whole duration of my second contract as a deck cadet. This time I will not falter. And to where there is an opportunity for me to grow and succeed is where I will be. I guess I am on the right track. My officers have already told me, "Lei, you are very much ready! What you need more is to have the courage to find that opportunity and push for it while you are still young."
