I want to let my kids Collin Vande Hoef, Clint Vande Hoef and Lexie Vande Hoef know that my heart and prayers go out to them. They lost their Grandpa Paul De Jager this morning. He was a very good man and I am blessed to have known him. My son Clint was close to his grandpa and he posted this tonight and wanted to share it. Clint Vande Hoef This is to the ONE man who called my not by my birth name, but the name he chose for me and the only other name I responded to, (SMILEY) I miss you Grandpa, (Paul DeJager), He was the one and only one to call me that and I will miss it dearly, He was the funniest man I have known and I hope to be half the man he was. He loved his family, very much and alwyas knew how to make everybody laugh. I learned so much from him. I will miss him and remember him for the rest of my days until I see him again and I hear that name again SMILEY with a big smile on his face.
