I want to make something very clear. We help municipalitys from all surrounding areas with animal control. When we are called by the police or local municipality to help them with a stray, we have to take the animals to the local shelter or the place the township says the strays will go. Its like that because the owner of the stray has to have the opportunity to view and reclaim the animal from where that township says the animals are taken to. Wouldnt you like to know where to find your animal? If a licensed kennel facility which we are should happen to accept a stray without following this process they could loose their license. We pull as many as we can from the shelter but we cannot pull them all. On a second note, once we have our 501c3 applied over 10 months ago we plan to do fundraising to help animals that the police have cruelty charges on the owners. Police could do more if we could help house them. Wolf
