I want to personally apologise for the actions of Phils Tavern saturday night. I represented them as of then and will no longer do any business there. We had a very different idea of what exactly the bar is and only time will tell who is correct. Mostly I want to offer my most sincere apology to One Big Love and all the fans that travelled from down the block and very far to see them. I personally would never keep them from playing ever or anywhere. They are friends of mine and some of the best people I know. I was astounded that this happened again as I had to work pretty hard to get them to agree to play there. If it were up to them they wouldnt of even considered the place after previous very similar situations. Why Phils would consistently ask me to have them play there and then not put them on is honestly something Ill never understand. I look at the bigger picture and know its not about the success of one night. Its about creating a sustainable and appreciated entity and will work hard to achieve that with Substrate Records and One Big Love leaving105 east 5th st. to whatever their idea of a business is. Love you all.. every single one of you.
