I want to take this opportunity to express my thanks for those of you who took the time to post some kind comments. It was much appreciated. I understand many of you have questions about the parking I have secured. The land concerned is sizeable and surrounded by secure high chain link fencing. Much of this land that had been used by the contractors for parking has tarmac marked out parking bays. It will be manned the opening times are yet to be confirmed to me but I have said at least from 6am to 10pm and to be reviewed. At this point I cannot tell you how many but easily in excess of 500, very probably much more. If all goes well and without problems the landowner is willing to upgrade the remaining land on this site for parking too. BUT and please be warned this landowner has told me in no uncertain terms that if their company finds themselves embroiled in controversy over onsite hospital parking it will withdraw the offer. I am making attempts to keep a low profile with the media. Trust me there is much I would like to say but won’t! Please all of you do the same. However when it is up and running...................let’s have a party!! Thank you again. x
