I want to take this time to say thank you to everyone involved in working the lights, graphics, video, and sound for the service at First Church, as well as everyone involved in the rest of the worship ministry. This morning was my first time taking a shot at working the lights, graphics, and video, and boy was I nervous. I had not been shadowing the regular workers when I could have been, so I only had a brief awareness of what needed to be done. I was worried all week long that I would make a big mistake, like forget to do something crucial, or do something to mess everything up. I prayed about it, asked God to give me peace of mind, and to give me focus when it was time to start. I kept telling myself, You are wasting your time worrying about this. Even if you do mess up, God will make it work out for His glory. Sure enough, I came to church early to get everything ready, and, with the exception of some little hiccups here and there, everything ran smoothly. You CAN trust God! He has a flawless track record to prove it!
