I want to thank Pastor Chuck Cannizzaro of New Heart Church in West Covina, Ca. He allowed me to grow as a musician and songwriter at his church. He encouraged me to write and do at least one of my songs every Sunday morning. Many a Saturday night, he would call and say, ”You know, the Lord put this song on my heart, you know it?” “Sure Pastor, I know it, I’ll do it.” would be my reply, and once we got off the phone, I would find it and learn it overnight for the man. I would do anything for that man. Many a Saturday night, he would call and ask, “can you write a song regarding this verse?” “Yes I can Pastor.” I would reply, and off I would go and write a song for the next morning message. I left New Heart because I thought the grass was greener on the other side, I realized this is not always the case, and I realized this morning I long to sing my songs, and I am more than the ‘piano guy’. Thank you Pastor Chuck, I love you my friend.
