I wanted to intrude on the wall of my all-time favorite ward with this thought: As I was working on some religion homework for one of my classes at Brigham Young University-Idaho, I had this insight: We read that every knee shall bow and every tongue confesses that Jesus is the Christ. Every time I think of how this day will be for my family and friends it gives me a stronger sense of urgency to bring them closer to our Savior. This purpose drove me as a missionary and I try to keep it driving me today. I want to do everything in my power to bring them to the knowledge of the reality and divinity of our Savior Jesus Christ and the special Atonement He has given all of us. This Christmas season I challenge all of you including myself to reach out to someone in need of this knowledge. Christmas is such an incredibly special time because youll find that those not willing to listen will have more of an open heart than any other time of the year. I promise you that if you have faith, youll have the strength to share your testimony. Remember that regardless of the outcome of what happens with who you share the gospel with, remember that your testimony is written by angels in heaven and they rejoice over you (D&C 62:3). I also invite you to listen to Elder Bruce R. McConkies final testimony. He barely had the strength to speak when this talk was given and passed away only a few days after. But we should all strive to reach the level of conviction that he had of our Savior. I love all of you and thank you for everything youve done for me!! Merry Christmas!!
