I wanted to share my story but want to remain anonymous.-- yesterday my family visited a local theme park where they recently added a water park. my husband is a heavy guy always has been. we had to pay extra to go to both parts of the theme park. once we got in there & got ready to go to the water park section, they stopped my husband before he could get on the water slide & made him step on a set of scales in front of everyone there then told him he was too heavy for the slides. i couldnt believe it. it was so humiliating to him. i felt so bad about the way he was treated. the thing is that park has had one water slide for several years before the water park addition & never have they had a weight limit. now they are saying "fat" people are not allowed on their new slides. but yet they charged him extra money to go to that part of the park. to me this is discrimination.
