I wanted to thank you for bringing us along on this journey with you. Bringing these private moments and issues out into the public gives us the opportunity to show our support and most importantly to pray for Seth and your whole family. I will never forget the night earlier this winter as I sat in a hotel room in Gardiner, MT. I opened Facebook and read of the return of Seths cancer. God really put him on my heart and I spent most of that evening crying and praying for Seth. I resolved that night to pray for Seth everyday, and try to have a more faithful and heartfelt prayer life than ever before. There is only one person in my life I have prayed for this faithfully. In 2000, I found out that my best friend from my late teens and early twenties had been diagnosed with A.L.S. (Lou Gehrigs Disease) I did some research at that time and found out that most people die within five years of this diagnosis. I have prayed for him harder than I have ever prayed for anyone in my life. I visited him 5 years ago expecting to find him either in a wheel chair or bedridden. When I pulled up, he was outside in his yard hacking down weeds with a Weed Wacker. He smiled and gave me a big hug. How awesome is that?! He mentioned that he quit going to the doctors because they just kept telling him how he was going to die, and how miserable it was going to be. He is still with us today 14 years after being diagnosed with a fatal disease that was suppose to take his life years ago. My prayers started out strong for Seth, and I have tried to have more faith than ever before. After his last surgery, I have found my prayer life tapering off a little. Again I must try to get refocused on my prayer life. I wanted you to know that for the time being, your family will be a big part of that.
