I was about to tell you about identical twins trickery when I came - TopicsExpress

I was about to tell you about identical twins trickery when I came across this astonishing story: Edith Zierer was born to a Jewish intellectual family not far from Krakow. When the Nazis invaded Poland in 1939, her family moved from one place to the next in search for hiding. At one point her parents and sister were killed. Edith remained all alone in the world. She was caught by the Nazis and was sent to a force labour camp. At liberation, at the age of 14, she attempted to return to her home town in search for relatives. She arrived at a train station and collapsed. As thin as a skeleton, apathetic and motionless, Edith was lying on the floor and nobody stopped to help her. All of the sudden, out of the crowd came a man in brown clothes of Catholic seminarian and gave her hot tea and some food. He was waiting for her to finish eating, then said lets go, but Edith was too weak to stand up. So the man carried her on his back and walked 2 miles in the deep snow to the train station for Krakow. Their roads separated in Krakow. Edith remembered his name - Karol Wojtyla - but all those passing years she failed to find him and thank him for saving her life. 33 years later, in 1978, the Vatican announced Pope Saint John Paul II. Edit found her saviour. The Pope was Karol Wojtyla. They finally met in 2001, in Israel. [sources: Wikipedia, and Ediths obituary written by Ofer Aderet]. To that I say - patience pays! - - - - How many times did people tell you that you look like someone else? It happens to me on occasion, same happens with Menachem. Joli and Menachem were identical twins, but nature is tricky. And to all you good friends - thank you for your hopes and prayers, your sharing and assisting in so many ways. We are lucky to have you. Happy new Year (and Gmar Chatima Tova) to all our Jewish friends. May this year bring peace, new revelations, and joy. God bless you all, Ayana KimRon FamilyRoots2000@gmail
