I was asked yesterday by a Memphis prek owner why on Earth would u help another Preschool get ready and set up for assessment? She asked this question in an ugly tone and explained I should just keep safe haven at 3 stars and that way - parents would know who is best. Then I went on a 30 minute spill! I do NOT agree with her thinking for several reasons! 1. Parents do not pay any attention to stars! 2. I would love for all tn preks to be 3 stars and would help any of them to achieve it! 3. Her attitude has hurt so many preks! No one wants to work together for fear of competition- when in reality- if you help your neighbor like the Bible says to do- God is gonna bless ya anyways! I am not competitive with any Prek- I am happy for all that are in business and admire them bc its a heck of a job! And the truth about stars- it depends on the assesses and they day they have had before arriving at Prek! I know it doesnt sound fair- however I have learned this! People need to learn working together solves many many problems! Dont put so much emphasis on yourself/ bc when you put others first- God will bless ya!! Ok rant over! Help everyone ya can! And youll be blessed!
