I saw not one, not two, but six dead birds floating in the fountain. Now...I was raised a farm girl. As a farm girl, Ive seen some SERIOUSLY gruesome shit, but this was new even to me. Six dead birds floating in a fountain signaled that something was terribly wrong. Birds just dont go for a dip and drown in a tranquil wedding fountain. They likely ingested pesticides or fertilizer or God knows what. It often saddens me to be human.
