I was challenged to write a Psalm from the Growing Together class at my church. I decided to post it in offerings of praise today. I am reminded of Your presence as I begin my day, for there You are in the beauty of the sunrise. But as I go through these fleeting moments, feelings of entrapment battle for my joy. I know that You have created me to live even in this season of pain. How do I praise You when each day passes as the one before? Where is purpose when all I see are these four walls and a view into a world I no longer feel I can experience as those around me? Herein is my praise; not in this outward shell in which I now live, but in the hope of whats to come. For I believe Your Word which says; the sufferings we endure now are not even worth comparing to the glory that is coming and will be revealed in us. O Lord, thank You for choosing me to be a vessel that will reveal Your glory. Thank You for pain that directs me to look beyond this earthly journey, to a home where pain and suffering no longer abide. Help me to see my weakness as a means to cling to Your sustaining grace.
