I was contacted about this yellow lab named Bo. Bo was hit by a car around a year ago (please refrain from negative comments as the owner wants to do right by Bo now). The break in the leg was questioned in the xray but end decision was that it probably needed to be amputated(which was not done). Bo adjusted to this lifestyle and appears to have no feeling in the leg. Being so, he carries it & drags it. More on beams of the stairway of the front porch, he bangs it. It has ripped out his toenails and is staying swollen. The owner indicates that its not infected but I think otherwise. Bo is 5 yrs old, give or take 90lbs, friendly with people and other dogs. The owner has been placed on disability & knows surgery needs to be done but doesnt have a penny to put towards it. She stated her heart will never leave Bo but if parting with him, saves his life, she told me to get a rescue to take, that will do right by him. He is located in Halls, TN. The wound is being treated by a blue horse cut treatment ( no clue what that is, other than a spray on). Bo needs medical attention...antibiotics plus the needed surgery. If infection sets in and reaches the bloodstream, it could be fatal. Please share for rescue.
