I was driving on Interstate getting on to interstate 465 in Indianapolis today and I saw a cop do the dumbest thing he should be fired. It was a two lane exit ramp from one interstate on to i4 65. The cop was backing up into moving traffic with his lights on he was backing up to stop traffic . I had to switch lanes to avoid hitting him . He had passed me earlier as police escort for an oversized truck carrying one of those big windmill blades. Apparently the win the windmill blade truck had got on i4 65 going the wrong way. So this cop solution was to back up around the curve into traffic going 60 mile an hour then putting his lights on and inspecting everybody to stop. Then they back the windmill truck at to where the exit ramp split and it takes the split going the other way. If I were to back up and moving traffic I would be fired on the spot. Why the hell would a cop be stupid enough to do this?
