I was familiar with the story of Michael Murphy from reading Lone Survivor. I followed up by reading Seal of Honor which gave a lot more insight into who this man was. After seeing MURPH: The Protector I was taken aback and touched. Michael Murphy is the definition of a hero in its purest form. A man who lived for others before living for himself. MURPH: The Protector is the most powerful documentary Ive ever had the pleasure of viewing. His life was a testament to service to others, his family, his country. His legacy is so much more than what transpired during Operation Red Wings, however his heroism during that battle is the definition of how he lived his life.
