I was in Bihar last week at my native place (a district headquarters town) for four days … It will not be inappropriate if, like most of my fellow Biharis, I, too, complain about the insignificant few hours of electricity available each day during the scorching and sultry summer. Life becomes miserable and unbearable without an electric fan to cool at night and a motor–pump to guarantee water …. Here, everyone is familiar with the term “load shedding” – the local term for blackouts. Bihar has been slow to exploit or utilize its own natural resources. Bihar has huge potential for hydroelectricity – the cheapest form of energy. But, who will take the pains to improve the situation & solve the energy crisis, and why? चुनाव में मत (vote) तो जातिगत समीकरणों के आधार पर मिलने हैं … जनता को बेहतर सुविधाएँ दिए जाने हेतु अनावश्यक परिश्रम क्यों किया जाए ..
