I was in line at CVS the other evening, and noticed the necklace on an elderly woman in front of me. I watched her get ready for her turn at the cashier coming up next.... fiddling with her purse and arranging the two large boxes of diet coke cans. She was probably Moms age, cute as all get out (a little pink visor hat, bright lipstick, jewelry and a cute jogging outfit). Naturally, I couldnt pass up the moment to chat with her (I try to act on the little voice/message that fills my spirit). I love your necklace! Thank you! It was my Grandmothers ( a huge smile shining back at me from the cute little lady) She told me all about the great discount she is getting on the diet coke, and how she thinks it probably isnt very good for her to drink because she gets a headache if she runs out.... so she is stocking up. I told her that my mom (RIP) had a hard time giving up diet coke and it really is harmful to drink. Maybe she should try tea instead. Her kids tell her the same thing, but tea isnt sweet enough. Me: add some honey, tea has wonderful benefits After she checked out at the cashier and it was my turn ( I wonder if someone was watching me fiddle with my purse? Lol), she starts to walk away - turned back to me and said thank you, Dear... I just might try some tea - and Ill think of you when I do. I got the big smile again. Cute.
