I was involved in a pro-Palestinian protest such as this at the Ann Arbor Art Fair. The pro-p marchers took over the streets forcing everyone on to the sidewalks lest they were to be swallowed up by their march. Why the down the streets of the art fair like a pile of army ants? Wouldnt the Diag have been good enough or around the perimeter of the art fair. When some of us decided not to move but stay on the street we were told we were inciting by leaders of the pro-p group. We explained that we didnt have to move and we had a right to stay on the street but he didnt see it that way. His group had rights but a few of us didnt because we werent acquiescent?? Wake up Americans.
