I was just having a really nice chat with Kyle Greene, who is a newbie live looper (who Im hoping will come perform at the loopfestival next year). He wrote something that was really inspiring to me; something that embodies why I love this community so much and am so excited to begin the looping festival again this year. Heres what he said: Life pulled me off the road when I was 24...from age 15-24 I did nothing but play. For years I felt like I had no hope of expressing myself anymore...I had moved away from Nashville and thought music was just done for me. But, now I am 30 and ever since I have started looping exclusively 2 years ago, Ive become more musically alive than *ever*. Finding you folks on Facebook and disovering this movement gives me more hope for a bright musical future than I have had in years and years. I am new on the scene, but I am honored to get to participate even just here on FB and be so warmly accepted by some phenomenally talented folks. Whats happening here is amazing, Rick!
