I was lucky enough to be at the View Two Gallery on Matthew Street yesterday for a fantastic evening of live original music presented by Colin and Peter from The Big I AM and featuring Johnno Casson and Jay Stansfield. Pete and Colin delivered a fantastic set of wonderful, atmospheric, sometimes almost Eastern-flavored songs on an enormous selection of stringed instruments and created an atmosphere worlds away from that 3 floors below in Matthew Street. Johnno and Jay are both great singer-songwriters too and gave great performances. With the ticket price being set at ZERO I cant believe that Colin and Pete were able to put on such a great night of music at such a great venue.
