I was lucky enough to work with two clients today, both kind, sweet, intelligent women that I felt honored to be entrusted with their hair and makeup looks for such big holiday events. First was Lesliann, a repeat customer and fantastic cheerleader of my work (as she’s referred me other clients and I love her even more for that!). This Puerto Rican beauty asked for a look that channeled old Hollywood glamour and that was precisely what she got. With Liz Taylor waves and locks the length of Rapunzel, her hair was fit for the silver screen. Flawless skin and lashes, lashes, LASHES completed her look. Adella visited me next and while it was our first time meeting, we chatted like old chums. She cleared up the moniker appropriate for the people of Guam (Guamanian, not Guam-ish… like I had secretly hoped) and we talked about food and the amazing weather in the American southwest. This lovely lady usually wears nothing but powder as her perfectly tan Pacific Islander skin requires little else, so we kept it light on the makeup. She also was feeling the vintage hair revival, so we went with a side swept waterfall with a horizontal twist across the back and all hair pulled to one side. Stunning ladies, it was an honor to make you both up today and thank you so much for the pleasure of your company! I wish you both the most wonderful, magical evening
