I was marvel by d kind of name we in Africa gives to our children or self. U asked somebody his name he said, Emmanuel Amos Moses. U asked, are from america? he replied, no! from aguata or ogun state. Same wit ladies, u asked their names they tell u, Sandra doris Emmanuel, wen u asked where they are from they wil tell u Owerri. I begin to wonder why must we immitate oyibo in everything, if they answer name we immitate, if they expose breast we immitate they wear bikini we immitate, if they do dreadlock we immitate, they legalise gay, pple are now agitating for it in africa. wat a shame! How many of these oyibo pple bears two african names eg onyeka chinonso David. Am not against answering english or foreign name but it shldnt be all ur names including surnames. Ok, let assume u want to go wit ur dads english name, wat of ur own tribal name. Dont we suppose to be identify by our names as regard to part of d world we came from. Be proud of ur tribal name, it is who u are, "the more we want to be like westerners, the more artificial we becomes. Be proud, be original, be best of who u are!.
