Reposting the message just put on my personal page :) Here we are on day 20 of this grand adventure. Waiting on wound care team and doctor to visit and determine how things are progressing. Jon looks good, well rested, although he has now lost 20 pounds. I on the other hand look a wreck. Need a shower, and something more than cat naps. The kids have been terrific about bringing me meals. What I want is to go home and fix something myself :) This morning Jon and I were discussing the possibility of them moving him upstairs to the LTAC. He said if the pull out chair was as bad there, I could go buy a cot. WHAT!!!??? I dont think I have been this discouraged in my life. Grumble, sigh, complain. Deep breath. Changing my attitude and putting a smile on my face. Whoops, better pull out my travel toothbrush first!
