I was on a trip with my best buddy Marie June Pavillar Castro and tito oscar and tita gwen for a week and now still stranded with storm signal no.2 in tacloban. June and i wanted a trip together for a long time... though id been to places we went, it was them that made the trip exciting. Despite the long walk, left baggages and delayed trip to tacloban... it was very heart warming to reach the place and see my long time friend and brother robert yap. My kumare Paulina Lawsin also prepared a place for us. As robert took us around yesterday to the mass graves, seeing shelters and told us stories what he together with his family and other people went through... i was crying... i remembered how much i also cried during that day when yolanda hit the area... here i have frinds who are like family.. abanse pinay family, my daughters god mothers and my sons, my own god mother. I had felt what many of us felt that day... today with the popes presence in the province ,,,,all the pain and difficulties all of us has felt has gone away... indeed how great the feeling to have lived the way the pope has lived his life....mercy and compassion .... viva il PAPA!
