I was reading a study from New Zealand that studied the spore drop patterns of a few Ganoderma. It described a method for taking a spore print from the mushroom. Ganoderma can not be reliably printed like other mushrooms due to the how they drop their spores. It works best when the mushroom is alive and still attached.I drew up a little diagram using my interpretation of their method. They used plastic and let it set for 24 hours. I think that this Idea should be explored as a way to get fresh prints of mature spores from Ganoderma.
