تعلن شركة المواهب الاردنيه للتوظيف عن توفر فرصة العمل التاليه في شركة امريكيه في العراق Job opportunity at American company in Iraq Position : Engineering (Technical) Manager Overview The Engineering (Technical) Manager will work in a Project Management environment where the main goal is to represent clients in managing projects from planning stage to construction completion. The Engineering (Technical) Manager position will be responsible to support and guide technical teams in the resolution of all technical matters related to Engineering during the design, construction, commissioning and handover phase of a project. Essential Functions The essential functions of the Engineering (Technical) Manager are as follows: 1. Uphold the client’s interests as their representative on the project. 2. Supervise technical engineers, architects, construction managers as assigned. 3. Perform technical review of various project design and construction documents including construction drawings, specifications, calculations, reports, cost estimates, contracts, variations in design, contractor’s shop drawings, material, qualification, method statement and other submittals. 4. Ensure design follows latest international and local codes and standards. 5. Ensure coordination of the project’s related documents with other disciplines including structural, mechanical and electrical. 6. Conduct system analysis and comparisons (value engineering) with regard to economical and functional considerations. 7. Perform Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions. 8. Contact utility authorities for confirmation of availability, coordination of service entry points, and confirming facilities required for obtaining service from the utility. 9. Coordinate with design consultants for all technical matters. 10. Ensure construction follows design documents and specifications and report non-conformances. 11. Participate in evaluating designers and contractors claims for variation orders. 12. Handle all site related technical matters with consultants, contractors and vendors. 13. Witness factory and site acceptance tests for pertinent systems. 14. Participate in the start-up, testing and commissioning of all Mechanical and Electrical equipment. 15. Understands and is aware of all facets related to construction safety. 16. Process consultant’s and contractor’s payment requisitions, as assigned. 17. Alert management with actions that may impact the project quality, budget or schedule. 18. Maintain engineering staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training employees. 19. On the job training and mentoring of Client personnel is required. Minimum Requirements Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university. Masters Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or Project Management considered an advantage PMP Certification (Project Management Professional) considered an advantage LEED Certification – an advantage. The ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from other stakeholders. Ability to lead and inspire staff at all levels of the organization. Commitment to the Company’s productivity and profitability. Superior interpersonal and communication skills are essential. Must have the ability to operate a computer and use Standard company’s CAD, word processing, spreadsheet, presentation and database software. At least 12 years of progressive experience in design and construction of relevant engineering projects including 4 years minimum in a construction field supervision. Housing, Transport, Security: While stationed in Iraq staff are provided secure housing accommodation, food, internet, laundry, television and transportation.
