I was recently asked, when speaking to a person about a Democratic Republic Resource Based Economy style nation: If you believe in the democratic republic political system that we have now, why not simply work within the system that we have in place? Why not seek to preserve it instead of letting it go to the trash heap of history? My reply: It is too corrupted at the current time. We can still preserve it though. The analogy would be to toss out the barrel full of rotten apples and just get a new barrel with clean apples. The barrel is still the same model though. An updated analogy would be like when your computer gets corrupted so badly you have to wipe the hard drive. Wipe the hard drive and reinstall the OS. It is still the same OS, just all the bugs are cleaned out. Also, that means I would have to work within a Capitalist system becoming rich in some way to become famous. The point of doing such would be to gain a large enough Megaphone so to speak by being able to get on talk shows or other such events that I could speak to a large amount of people at once.
