I was reminded 2night why I dont like to leave my little cave much - TopicsExpress

I was reminded 2night why I dont like to leave my little cave much anymore. When I originally moved here in May of 1992, Las Vegas, Nevada was a completely different town. It was Happy and Way way smaller. You could see celebrities walk along the strip which is 3xs as big as it was even back then. Tonight.......all I could picture was the Crying Indian as I see Trash everywhere, on the sidewalks, streets. Homelessness has become like a disease that has infected so many that I cant even go to the park because it is filled with the desperation & I feel so very powerless to help. I get in trouble when I do, or I get warned~~its a mix of folks though....some are from unforeseen circumstances, some from the addictions and vices that this town has a never ending supply of....then I wondered about the Original Vegas type Gangster.......and I wondered if He too would have tears rolling.......Vegas has literally become the Have & Have Nots......then I found this little tid bit::: Perhaps the earliest visitors to the Las Vegas area were nomadic Paleo-Indians, who traveled here 10,000 years ago, leaving behind petroglyphs. Anasazi and Pauite tribes followed at least 2,000 years ago. A young Mexican scout named Rafael Rivera is credited as the first non-Native American to encounter the valley, in 1829 And it only took 20 years for this Generation to turn it into what it is today
