I was returning from a club at about 4:30am this morning when i drove past a woman with four kids. Judging from the look of those kids, they wont be more than age 7months to 6years. I mean the least will be six months old, while the other kids will be around 2 years, Fours and six years respectively. She backed one, held two with her hands and the fourth child was just dragging herself behind her mum. This kids look unkept, not well fed, and really stressed out. The cloths they wore are similar to rags in some people homes. After driving past them, i felt pity for the children but not for the woman. So i stopped, waited for them to catch up with me, roll down my glass, and asked the woman wheres she coming from and wheres she going to with this kids. She said shes coming from a Night Vigil and shes heading towards Egbeda area of Lagos. Luckily for her, she was heading to my direction, so, i gave them a lift. Right in my car, the woman began with words likes ; Thank you sir May God bless you sir May you be favoured in your life as you have favoured me today May God in heaven bless you abundantly May you never lack ... She never ceased to thank me till i got to her destination. After arriving at her destination, she started another rounds of thanks and prayers. I looked at her and the kids and told her my mind, maam. If this is how your God will bless you, may i never receive such blessing from your God She was stone shocked by my response judging from the look at her face. I revised back, and head straight to my house. Raising a child is very expansive in this jet age, why have children when you cant raise them properly?
