I was shocked and sad to learn this morning that this great man passed of cancer. I was unaware of his lengthy battle and find it incredible that we shared the same passion in helping others in the fight. Not only was he extremely talented in sports, and the arts, he was also an incredible Warrior. Rest in Peace, Stuart Scott, you will be missed. 🙏❤️ Scott saved his best for his last year on the air. At the ESPYS on July 16, shortly before his 49th birthday and following another round of cancer surgery, Stuart accepted the Jimmy V Award for Perseverance with strength, humor, grace and these eloquent words: When you die, it does not mean that you lose to cancer.
