I was sitting in my garden reading an essay on the surrealist dream paintings of Dali, when I spied a slow slithering red spotted Lampropeltis Triangulum climb up an old tree stump altar and encircle the Buddha statue. She then disappeared down into the dark wood presumably to tend her nest, eat slugs and schmooze with chthonic forces. Milk snakes are not poisonous, though they look dangerous. The eggs are supposed to hatch in August. Tell me if youd like to adopt.
