I was so brilliant that I locked my keys in the truck this afternoon at Walmart. So while waiting on Zachary to save the day I went back and sat on the bench with an older gentleman.. He asked if I needed help so I told him what happened, he thought it was funny... So while waiting, I was looking at fb, then it hit me... What happen to the art of conversation...I put my phone in my purse and asked him if he lived in Lucedale and he said no, that he lived in Leakesville and he had brought his grand kids to shop. He cracked up when I told him he had to come to the big city to shop... I enjoyed our 15 minute talk... Amazing what you can learn when you are willing to listen... Must say, I learned a few INTERESTING things about the small town of Leakesville, MS... Lesson of the day for me, appreciate people and dont be scared to put the phone away to talk, you can learn a lot from an 85 year old:)
