I was so proud of how my Girls competed on the weekend at City of Charm Swim meet and so were they. How good is it when the go to school and try to share their achievements. Its is one thing for the kids to run other kids down but for the teachers to shoot them down is ridiculous. Alex told a teacher today that she swam a 25sec pb in her 100mtr fly and the teacher (who I might add couldnt swim 100fly) stated to the child if you can do a 25sec pb you have only been plodding along til now. Really even if this was said tongue in cheek your not funny it is not fair to shoot a kid down like that. The same kids is only a few seconds of all her strokes for state age for an 11yr old, shes 10. Maybe this teacher feels the need to cut kids down because they dont do her preferred sporting field. Either way grow up!! Done ranting just disappointed in human nature really
