I was suppose to fill in just for a few days in the Nature Center at Potato Creek then the interns were to be brought back. (They can only work so many days per year ....state money rules) But, instead, there is a hiring freeze from the state and they cannot be hired back until probably January! Potato Creek thought they may have to close the Nature Center until the Naturalist came back from vacation. Well, I am plan b. :) I will be giving presentations on beavers, frogs, toads, snakes.....I told them , sure, I can do it. It is like developing a lesson plan and teaching!
