I was talking about a nanotech with a Doctor friend, which would make medicines inside the body according to Its need. I said:I wonder when this tech will be available in Pakistan. He answered:It isnt available in countries like USA. So,it hitted me.World is excelling in every kind of field and we Pakistanis are stuck with MBBs and dependant on countries like USA for research and Technology. We want to be a doctor and serve the Nation with our own efforts but give it a thinking that today what we need the most? Doctors or more research work & development? Pakistan is producing much doctors as So many private Medical colleges.There are no tech in Govt.hospitals,poor facilities,sluggish & old machinery.I had to make the visit of Meo Hospital,Opthology department,building was of almost 7 or 8 floors and there was one laser machine there and was faulty.My one cousin is doing housejob in Nishtar,he said Doctors have to operate without anaesthesia because there are no anaesthetic specialist,even if there is then no anaesthesia available and same story I heard from another cousin in QMC.When you become a doctor you have big responsibility on your shoulders,you cant be self centred,you have no life,you have given your life for the humanity...Think over it and with sorry many of us(Pakistaniz) are selfish and we think of ourselves ist.So,Doctor is a delicate profession.If your nature is not like that has to be for a Doctor then you should give up on it then go which suits you best. All I am saying is My dear friends especially those who wont be able to get in merit,MBBs is a noble profession I admit it but if you want to serve the Nation and Muslim ummah then there are lot more better ways.Clear up your mind,seek help from ALLAH,move forward and be on right path :) MD MD
