I was thinking that maybe I would use my fb page to write about something near and dear to my heart.. BIG GIRL PROBLEMS! I know most of you are rolling your eyes or getting ready to de-friend me, thats fine. I just thought it might be nice to share some insight to what is really going on in the life of a big girl. Honestly, big girls dont get much respect from men or women.. so I thought I might be able to open a few eyes and change someones perspective of the elusive big girl. Each day, I am going to try to come up with something that I myself, have dealt with and try to further explain it to those who arent big boned. If you wish, read them.. comment even suggestions would help, but please, no bashing! And trust me, I understand skinny girls and guys have problems.. but we all do! I just wanted to share :3 So.. here onto my first big girl problem topic. Big Girl Problem : Clothes! Now just like you skinny girls we all have friends who are different shapes and sizes. I have noticed that skinny girls have an advantage with stretching their dollar and finding clothes that look amazing! Us big girls? Not so much. If I were to travel to walmart right now.. me being a baller on a wally world budget.. it would cost me about 40 bucks to have a semi decent outfit. Although, most big girl clothing consists of wild colors.. rhinestones.. and rivets.. most of the shirts look like small moo moos. Now I know other stores such as lane Bryant and torrid have some nice clothing for bigger women.. but it costs 40-80 bucks for just jeans alone! I know a skinny girl can get probably 3 outfits with just the price of my jeans! Although I do have to mention that I did go to kohls and found a pair of capris on clearance for 10 dollars.. I cried tears of joy.. I have never paid so low for an article of clothing.. and they actually look really nice on me.. once in a while we get those awesome finds... they are rare though. But the point of this problem.. Ladies if you see a bigger girl who as a well put together outfit.. give her some kudos! She worked hard on it! And guys.. same for you.. that girl is trying VERY hard to look good and spending some serious pay to try and attract some attention to herself. TAKE NOTICE! :)
