I was very cleverly released from employment by Lockheed Martin 2 - TopicsExpress

I was very cleverly released from employment by Lockheed Martin 2 weeks ago...because im a Transgendered woman. For the past 6 years ive been recognized as one of the best Supplier Quality Engineers, ive survived 3 separate bigotry / discrimination issues, then with no warning or inclination i was released. The reason given was multiple complaints from several sources about my work. I have several letters of recommendation ive received from various levels of Lockheed management over the past 6 years. When i requested validation of these supposed complaints, which means i wanted to know the source, i was told its confidential . I took a couple of weeks to get over the shock and confusion of being regarded as one of their best, and literally overnight being unemployed. This is all for now, im getting a kick out of reading posts about equality and Trans-rights and progress. Lockheeds web-site even specifically states Gender expression in the Workplace ...means nothing. I know several trans employees at several Lockheed locations that dont dare even reference being trans because they are positive they will be terminated. I will be posting more about this shortly...ill be curious to see how far this goes.
