I was waiting to post this until I had more information, which I got this morning. Our family could use some prayers right now. Yesterday morning while getting ready for work Tims dad had a lot of trouble with getting ready. He had to put serious concentration into the most basic steps, like washing himself and dressing. Fortunately he was alert enough to recognize that something was wrong with him and was able to call for help. He was taken to Mercy hospital, where he started having head pain, vision problems and was becoming unable to answer basic questions. At first they thought it was a mild stroke. They did two CT scans, and at least one of them suggested a mass in his brain. Mercy doctors thought his lung cancer might have metastasized so he was transported to Karmanos in Detroit where his oncologist is. He got admitted there, theyre reviewing Mercys test results and are going to run tests of their own. We wont know much more until at least later today, if not tomorrow. The good news is that he *has* improved since yesterday morning. Keep us in your thoughts please.
