I was watching HLN this morning and to my surprise they showed one of the nonessential government employees at a food bank in need of food after 14 days! 14 DAYS! How can that be? Im sure they received a check for the last week worked so they couldnt have been more than 1 week without pay at the most! And youre telling me that the only option available was a food bank? Since u doubt they were really in need, isnt that taking food from families who really need it? With government employees who are either so irresponsible as to not have planned for more than a week before they are destitute; or they are trying to play with our emotions to make us feel sorry for them. No wonder our government is in such a mess!
