I was watching a video last night from Jack Van Impe - TopicsExpress

I was watching a video last night from Jack Van Impe (youtube/watch?v=YhnJ-dNn0WU), and he said something that got me to think. He said: (paraphrased) we do not tell the muslims to either convert or die, but yet they do. He went on to explain it is in the Quran to do so (Sahih Muslim (19:4294)). At first, I agreed to it, but after thinking about it overnight, while we do not do that as a whole anymore (there may be a rogue few Christians that do so), there was a sect of Christianity that reigned strong for 1260 years, and they did so in the name of Jesus. Yes, you guessed it, it is the catholic church that murdered over 10 million because they chose to either not become Christian, or they chose to follow Gods True Word and not the pope. My question is, should we accept the catholic church as a part of the Christian faith, or declare them as a radical sect? Im not trying to demean the members of the catholic church, for I know they do not realize what they are a member of, but I do speak against the pope and what he stands for, and the throne that he claims to be even higher than God. Isnt that why Satan got kicked out of Heaven? Library is closed, so Ill chat with you tomorrow further on this subject.
