I was working with a couple, 40ish, with an income of about $40K per year. I could get them a subsidized policy at the exchange for about $276 a month, a Bronze plan with a few $10 co-pay office visits. The problem is the maximum out-of-pocket was $6,350 each. So, I showed them a Short Term health insurance plan for $146/month with a max. out of pocket of $3,500 each. Its not ACA compliant, so they will pay the penalty, but even so theyll be saving about $90 per month with better coverage. With 17 days left to sign up for a health insurance plan its time to get off the fence and call me: 816 621-7525, and lets get you at least some catastrophic coverage so you can sleep well at night. I can do insurance in any state, so dont let your location slow you down.
