Nintendo seems to be doing a great job at advertising Smash Bros on the Wii U. Ive seen nothing but commercials for it air on TV and ive also seen a lot of Amiibo trailers appear. To make things more interesting, Sears yesterday managed to sell the Wii U for $60 by mistake. It was quite the mistake, but people managed to snag their own Wii U and took Sears price to Walmart and Toy R Us for price matching with some success. These companies are going to owe Nintendo some money, but at least the Wii U managed to sell. Now its going to do even crazier this Friday. This he moment weve been waiting for because the Wii U is going to start selling like hot cakes because of Smash Bros. Its install base will certainly grow and 3rd parties will start to take notice of this. To make things even better, Black Friday comes the week after and that should certainly help boost sells. Plus, a Mario Kart 8 bundle was released in Japan on Captain Toads and MK8s release date, so that should also boost Japanese Wii U sales. Overall, things will be looking up for the Wii U soon.
